The vocals range from high-pitched voiceless black metal frys to depressive screams and from death growls to clean vocals and choirs.Altäre der Vergänglichkeit describes the spiritual atmosphere that emanates from the aesthetics of external and internal decay. The title comes from the lyrics of Forlorn I and Ruins I+II.
