Born out of the emptiness and numbing stasis of the pandemic, Münster-based band Aghalmar finds their own style in Atmospheric Black Metal. Their music sounds rugged, harsh and lonely, yet also contains haunting melodies and melancholic beauty – it is music for those who are in danger of losing track in a world full of uncertainty. This is also reflected in the lyrics, which deal with despair, emptiness, and escapism, but are not without hope.
