Gritty and distorted yet hazy and hypnotic, She Walks By Moonlight is the debut LP from MOON DESTROYS, formed by guitarist Juan Montoya (ex-Torche) and drummer Evan Diprima (ex-Royal Thunder). It's a cinematic and otherworldly journey, shifting from shimmering post-rock to driving riff-doom and back to shoegazy psychedelia. The band breeze easily into the environs of Floor, Mother Love Bone, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Russian Circles and Ride, ultimately collapsing all efforts at categorization in their effervescent, compulsive swirl.
