Stian Westerhus - Amputation (CD)

Stian Westerhus is a Norwegian experimental guitarist holding a bachelor in jazz from Middlesex University under Stuart Hall, and a master from the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (NTNU, 2005). He has previously played with bands such as Jaga Jazzist (Ninja Tune) and Puma and has collaborated with many eminent musicians such as Sidsel Endresen, Nils Petter Molvær, Supersilent and Motorpsycho. He has released a slew of critically acclaimed solo albums via Rune Grammofon, the last one as Stian Westerhus & the Pale Horses in 2014. He returns with an album of abstract and, quite frankly, stunning beauty for House of Mythology.
